Located in the North Kent Downs, attendees will hear from expert speakers with guided walks exploring tree health, conservation strategies and balancing heritage with ecological management.

Lessons from 20 Years of Veteran Tree Management at Killerton Estate

Site event

This event will offer insights into two decades of veteran tree care at the National Trust’s Killerton Estate. There will be field discussions on propping techniques, cable and rod bracing, crown stabilisation, veteranisation, as well as the ecological value of standing dead wood and the role of VETcert qualifications.
