    About Silvestor

Silvestor is a hub for foresters and arboriculturists to connect, collaborate and stay informed about what’s happening across the sector. It’s not just a learning platform – it’s a space where professionals can:

    • Discover the latest news and developments in forestry and arboriculture.

    • Explore upcoming events and opportunities to network.

    • Participate in practical training sessions and workshops.

    • Access links to key forestry initiatives and organisations for deeper insights.

At the heart of Silvestor is collaboration. The platform is guided by a steering group of leading organisations committed to advancing the sector: Cumbria Woodlands, Forestry Commission, Institute of Chartered Foresters and Woodland Trust.

    Help shape Silvestor

We’re currently in a pilot phase and your input matters. By participating and sharing feedback, you can help co-design what this platform will look like, ensuring it becomes the most beneficial resource for the forestry and arboriculture community.

Together, we aim to create a connected community that supports knowledge sharing, professional growth, and sustainable forestry practices.
